Keeping Your Mind in the Immediate Moment--Law of Attraction and FEAR

Good morning. When we last spoke, I told you about my huge revelation concerning the law of attraction. I told you the story about how I wanted canned tomatoes and couldn't find them at a good price. I went on to say that I had these canned tomatoes on my mind for three days, wanting them, but not fearing that I wouldn't get them at a good price. With keeping these canned tomatoes on my mind, wanting them but not fearing that I wouldn't get them, I was led to find them at the same grocery store which I had previously checked the day before. There they were . . . on sale. I couldn't believe it. I got my canned tomatoes for an amazing price, and I stocked up.

Now, when I thought about the canned tomatoes and how I wanted them but didn't fear not getting them, it made me take a step back and examine what I've been studying for the last seven years: metaphysics and the power of the mind. For many of you reading this, you know it as the law of attraction.

To give a quick recap, the law of attraction, or, the way we make things happen in our lives, is a universal law that governs the physical world. For anyone who doesn't know what the law of attraction is, it states that you will attract anything that's equivalent to your vibrational frequency. Everything in the universe, everything that exists, vibrates at different frequencies. And it's been scientifically proven, and known, that the universe, and everything in it, including humans, is made of energy. And energy swirls and vibrates at different levels. If your vibration is low, you will attract other people and events whose vibration is low or equal to yours; and when that happens, you're undoubtingly attracting some pretty bad stuff. To learn more about our universe and how it's governed, read Power vs. Force or go back to my previous blog A Huge Breakthrough in the Law of Attraction and read up on it.

Now, since the tomato incident, I've delved into my past, as far as I could remember, and thought about all the incidences where I wanted something and got it. I'm talking about all the things in my life that came to me; when the fear of not getting them wasn't an issue.

When I was younger, mid-twenties through to my late thirties, whatever I wanted, I got. I never gave it thought as to how I would get it. I just got it. If I wanted a job, I got it. If I wanted clothes or jewelry, or a car, I just went and got it. I didn't worry over how I'd pay the car loan or how I pay my house bills. I just knew it would all work out and went on with my day.

BUT!! when I got older, and life became real---real meaning, I lost my parents to cancer, lost my home, got sick---it was then when I made the promise to myself to learn about me and why my life got so messed up. I couldn't understand what was happening to me. What happened to the happy girl who had it all and didn't fear the worst?

Let me explain a little about fear.

Fear is innate. It's the part of our psyche that keeps us in survival mode. But over the course of man's history, we've evolved into a species who collectively created numerous branches of fear, which ultimately became a part of our DNA. This innate fear, which was intended only for survival, morphed into phobias, anxiety disorders, and various forms of psychoses.

As man progressed, he observed the fear of not having enough from watching other people who were suffering from lack, and as he observed and contemplated the possibilites of it happening to him, it ultimately did; thus, man's knowledge that his needs could NOT be met became a reality, which turned into a belief, which was then passed on from man to man, generation to generation, and eventually embedded into his DNA. It grew and became an insidious monster. And soon, man's inherent instinct to survive was blown out of proportion and became a reinvented, learned emotion which attacked him and brought him to his knees.

Once you let fear into your mind, it takes over and raises doubts in every aspect of your life.

Let me give you a small example:

I never feared getting speeding tickets, and trust me, I've gotten my share. At one point, I had so many speeding tickets that I was a hair away from having my license revoked. Do you think it bothered me? Nope. I told myself I would just drive without the licence. But here's the thing. I was young and stupid, and thought I was invincibile. I didn't care about tickets or the fact that my insurance went up. I knew I would somehow be able to pay the increase and pay the tickets.
But when I bought a house with my mom, and saw that many things became attached to the ownership of the house, my carefree attitude slowly began to change. I now had responsibilities, which included sharing expenses with my mom. I had bills up my wazoo. And when I saw my insurance premiums go up because of my driving record, which not only affected me but my mom, I stopped in my tracks and thought, holy cow. I better get my act together. I suddenly had to grow up. And when you grow up, you get a big, fat dose of reality. And reality equals the fear of CONSEQUENCE. And this fear extends into every aspect of your life. For instance: It spills onto your job, and fills your head with the idea that one day you could be replaced, and if that should happen, how would you  pay the bills? After all, you're not twenty any more, and who wants to hire a forty-year-old when a twenty-year-old does the job just as well, and for less pay?

Fear comes into your life as you come to realize that life dishes you back what you put out; it comes to you when you understand that there's an ending. And as you mature and see the people around you dying, and your friends struggling, and co-workers, who've you known for years, having problems with their marriages and their kids, life takes on a different meaning. It's no longer this experience where nothing matters. Everything becomes relevant. And sickness and death become thoughts that scare the hell out of you. Life is suddenly this thing that wipes away your smile and leaves you with the fear of how will you survive?

So, why am I talking about fear? Because fear is this intangible thing that keeps you from getting what you want. It's the thought form that plays like a broken record. It tells you that you can't handle things. It tells you that life is hard. It tells you that you're not good enough. It lies to you and feeds off others' fears. And when you fear you aren't that carefree person who can have the world, guess what? You won't have the world. You'll only have more of what you fear.

You must be thinking, Val, where the heck are you going with this? Telling you about fear is to make you understand that it's the key ingredient in the law of attraction. When you understand how the law works, and that your thoughts produce symbols that your subconscious mind reads, and that your subconscious is the DIRECTOR OF YOUR LIFE, and that if you have negative thoughts, it sinks into your subconscious and reaffirms the original negative beliefs, and that it's these beliefs that create more negative thoughts, which exude your being (because they're pure energy) and go into the universe and ATTRACT its equivalent in vibration, you'll know and want to know everything that there is to know about how your mind operates and how the law of manifesting works.  Are you getting this? Your thoughts are pure energy which exude your being and go into the universe to begin manifestation. This happens without your consent. You cannot stop this from happening. You cannot hold it back. What you think, good or bad, begins manifestation within three days. And if you keep your mind on whatever it is you're thinking, it will absolutely come to pass. Either way! Good or bad. You might ask, well I have so many thoughts. Will they all come to pass? No, they won't and I'll explain why.

You can only hold one thought at a time. Did you know that? It may seem like thousands of thoughts are zooming through your mind, BUT, only one thought, at any given time, can occupy your mind. You can have a good thought followed a nano second later by a bad thought, but they both can't exist at the exact time. The reason why all your thoughts don't manifest is because there are so many of them, and as they exude from your being into the universe, they collapse. You haven't kept your mind on any particular one of them long enough to begin the manifestation process. Only thoughts that you can't shake, that you're focusing on in the now, that you think about for a minimum of three days, will come to pass. The more focused you are on a thought, and the more feeling you put into it, good or bad, if kept on your mind, will come to pass.

Okay. I'm going to stop here for today. I want you to get this, and if I keep writing, it will hurt your eyes. So, I'll continue this during the week and tell you about my test on the law of attraction and how five different desires came to pass within hours. Meanwhile, if you have any questions, feel free to ask. Leave a comment and let's get to talking about this.

Bye for now.

A HUGE BREAKTHROUGH IN THE LAW OF ATTRACTION

For those of you who know me, who've read Master of the Realm, you know that I'm a straight-up kind of girl. I tell it like I see it, and I don't say things that I don't mean. In other words, I talk from my heart.

Over the last couple of years, I've written numerous articles about psychology, my spiritual awakening, my revelations, and other related topics. But the one thing that I didn't delve into too deeply was the law of attraction.

When I began blogging, it was in 2008, after Master came out. I shared plenty of true stories with you---tibits from the book--experiences that I had had, hoping that these experiences would guide you. I even talked about the law of attraction; although back then, I didn't have a name for it.

Since then, I've written a few articles about how to lift your vibration level, how the law of attraction works, and how your core beliefs affect your outter world. In writing these articles, it was my deepest desire to have everyone on the planet read them; to take my personal experiences and apply them, so that they, too, could have new meaning to their lives. But if I have to be honest, I didn't get many readers. Not too many people were interested in hearing what I had to say. And it made me sad. Because all I wanted was to help people.

Today, while meditating, I had a huge revelation on why I'm not getting all the things I desire. And let me make this perfectly clear. Just because I'm intuitive and have a spiritual connection, does not mean that I'm infallible. On the contrary. I'm human and I have thoughts like the rest of you. I have fears like the rest of you. I have obstables, like the rest of you. But the one thing that I have that you may not have is the deep desire to overcome my fears and obstables; thus, I continually, faithfully, and undyingly call on God for answers.

So, it's like this: I have tremendous insight into how the mind works; how our core beliefs dictate our lives; and why we develop phobias and emotional anxieties. I've been studying the mind for over 24 years which grew to include metaphysics, healing, and neuro linguistic programming. I'm really big on using our minds to get what we want. But when I saw that I wasn't getting what I wanted by using my mind and its revelations, I had to take a huge step back and examine why. My story below is real and happened to me today.

On Saturday, I went through my kitchen cabinets to make a list of what I needed at the store. I noticed that I didn't have any canned tomatoes. And that's a big what in my house. No canned tomatoes? What will I do? So I went to the store. When I got to the aisle where the canned tomatoes were located, I went into shock. The canned tomatoes were more than double the price from when I last bought them. As a side note, I buy in bulk. If they go on sale, I buy a case or two. And the last time I bought them I paid .50 cents per can. They're now $2.85 per can.

I left the store telling myself that the holidays are approaching, and like every holiday, they'll probably go on sale. I wasn't scared of never getting canned tomatoes. I wasn't fearful that not getting them would ruin my life. I just knew that I'd get them. My attitude was, hey, whatever.
Now follow me closely on this. Despite my attitude that I wouldn't worry over how I'd get these tomatoes, I still wanted these tomatoes. I didn't lose sleep over it, but when Sunday came, and I had to go back to the store for an item I'd forgotten to buy the day before, I went down the canned tomato aisle just to check it out. Nothing changed. The price was still off the charts.

Today is Monday. After my morning talk with God, I took some clothes to the dry cleaners. Next door is a store called TOP TOMATO. Yeah, I know. What a coinky-dink. Anyway, I said, let me check it out. I walked in, checked out the prices of the canned tomatoes, and did an about-face. This store was more expensive than the other store. Now here's where it gets good.

I went home and was getting ready to start work when I thought that the only store I didn't check over the weekend was SHOPRITE, and the reason I didn't check it was because I had checked it on Friday, and the prices were equally as high as all the other stores. So I said, what the heck. I'll go online and check their weekly circular again, just for the fun of it. And sure enough, my brand of tomatoes was on sale, and the sale started on Sunday. Imagine if I didn't think to check it again? The tomatoes were .80 cents a can. HOLY COW! That's a huge savings.

Now you might say, Val, that's just a coincidence. And I'd have to agree with you if it was a one-time isolated incident. But looking back on my life and examining all the little incidences that came to fruition--incidences such as the tomato caper, incidences that I've never given thought to, until now, I can honesty claim that these incidences were not coincidences.  They were, and are, the law of attraction at work. But I want to make one thing perfectly clear. All my life's incidences, the one's that happened, the one's that I wanted to happen, were things that I didn't fear not happening. They weren't life threatening things; therefore, I didn't fear the consequence of not getting them. Add up enough of these so-called coincidences and suddenly you realize that there's more happening here than meets the eye. It's the universal law of attraction doing its thing.

Which leads me to . . .

Lesson one --- The law of attraction

For anyone who doesn't know what the law of attraction is, it's a universal law that states you will attract anything that's equivalent to your vibrational frequency---or level. Everything in the universe, everything that exists, vibrates at different frequencies. It's been scientifically proven, and known, that the universe, and everything in it, is made of energy. And energy swirls and vibrates. To learn more about it, read Power vs. Force.

Now, think about this carefully. We think all day long. Thinking is what defines us. It's what drives us. We humans are pure consciousness who are ego--driven. We think, analyze, rethink, reanalyze every waking second of our life. Our thoughts, which are pure energy, define who we are. And if our thoughts are bad or negative, it attracts more negative thoughts ( vibrational match ) which in turn goes out into the universe and attracts all things equal in vibrational frequency. So to recap. We are beings who operate through an ego--driven conscience, thus, our thoughts can take multitude directions.

Now. Fear is a negative energy force, which exudes from our being and goes into the universe. Fear is a block that will keep you from getting what you want. When you fear, you draw more fear to you. And when you draw more fear to you, you draw events--incidences--that will validate your fears even more. If you doubt what I'm saying, think back on the events in your life which you've feared that have come true. So, it's like this. If you're a negative Nelly and complain all day long, and have multiple fears about life, your vibrational level is probably extremely low, and therefore, you will attract only the people or events that are equally low---or a vibrational match to you. Read about vibration by clicking on this link ----->. Laughing Your Ass Off Will Raise Your Vibration Level

Taking this a step further. If the law of attraction is constant, and we can't stop it, we have to really understand how it works. All the big things in life, such as money, love, career, and health, are parts of our existence that effect us the most. We fear not having these things, and dwell negatively on them all day long. Which means that if we think about all our bills that are piled up on the kitchen counter, and worry over how they'll get paid, telling ourselves that we DON'T HAVE THE MONEY TO PAY THEM, then the universe will bring us just that: not enough money to pay them.

My story about the tomatoes is true, and  is a powerful example of how the law of attraction works. So stay with me on this.

What you desire must be on your mind ( your thoughts ) and stay on your mind for a minimum of three days to get it into the universe. THE KICKER? You want it, but deep down you don't fear not getting it. You want those damn tomatoes, and will keep your eye out for them during your travels (still keeping it in the back of your mind), but you're okay if you don't find them. In other words, there is ABSOLUTELY NO FEAR of not getting your tomatoes. With your mind on the tomatoes---wanting them, but not fearing that you won't get them---they will come to you. DO YOU UNDERSTAND THIS? The universe will line up events so that you will find your tomatoes on sale. Why? Because your heart and intention is set on getting canned tomatoes, but you have absolutely NO FEAR of it not happening. There's nothing blocking the universe from delivering what you want.

Get it? Fear is what keeps you from getting what you want. So how do you get what your heart truly desires? How do you keep the fear of not having it from your heart and mind?

I'll tell you a little later during the week. One step at a time. I want you to really give this thought.

Oh, and check out Master of the Realm---to the right of this blog. If you've never believed in God, spirits, or the afterlife, you will after you read it.

Laughing Your Ass Off Will Raise Your Vibration

Okay, so this is going to be a little long. But trust me. It’ll be worth it.

It’s been a while since we chatted, but I’ve been so busy writing my new novel that I just didn’t have the time to come around. And we all know that I can’t bang out quality work if I’m blogging. Or talking. Or chewing gum. Not me. I have to isolate myself until I’m done. And now that I’m done and publishing my book, I’ve resumed my studies on the subconscious mind and metaphysics, and fine-tuned it to include the laws of attraction, the laws of energy forces, the power of positive thinking, and of course, praying and its correlation to reprogramming the subconscious. Oh, and let’s not forget tapping and doing the healing codes.

Now, you may be saying to yourself, what the heck is Val talking about? I realize that I’ve just mentioned quite a few things, but they’re extremely important things that will help you better your lives and elevate your consciousness to achieve any goal or desire that you have.

Taking this a step further—the reason I’m writing this is to clarify the term “raising your vibration”.
If you’ve been studying the law of attraction, and if you’ve been reading all the books written about it, and if you’ve been buying every audio and attending every seminar concerning it, and you still don’t understand what it means to raise your vibration in order to attract your desires, then you’ve come to the right place. I’m going to explain what the gurus didn’t. I’m going to break it down in simple terms using simple examples, and when I’m done, you’re going to say, damn, is that what it is?

Okay, so here we go. In terms that all humans can understand: to raise your vibration simply means getting in a better mood. Now you may be thinking that it’s not easy to get into a better mood. And you may be wondering what does getting in a better mood have to do with raising your vibration? And you may even be wondering, what the heck is a vibration? So I’m going to explain it in basic rudimentary terms and when I’m done, trust me, you will understand this.

Okay, so scientists have confirmed that the universe is made of energy. This includes everything from our thoughts, to rocks, vegetation, plant life, water, the animal kingdom, and our physical bodies. After the studies were considered absolute, it was then discovered that each element of existence vibrates. Yes, vibrates. Energy not only swirls, it vibrates. And it vibrates on different levels. And science has proven that energy will attract and be drawn to other energy that vibrates on its same level. Here's an analogy. A dog whistle can only be heard by dogs. When the whistle is blown, it vibrates between 23 and 54 Hz, too high for humans to hear. It’s out of our vibration frequency, but not for a dog, whose frequency is in tune with the frequency of the whistle.

Taking it a little further. Again, this is just an example. A magnate will attract particles that vibrate at its level; such as particles that are equal in composition and vibration. Now I know that I’m simplifying this, but it’s to get my point across. It’s weird to think of life as nothing more than a series of vibrations, but this is what it actually boils down to. If you can wrap your mind around the possibility that all of life literally vibrates, and that the vibration of energy will attract its equivalent, then you’ll get this.

Under high powered microscopes, we can see atoms vibrating; and since everything in the universe is made of atoms, everything vibrates. Why things vibrate at different levels is another story for another time. For now, let's just stick with the fact that all of life vibrates.
If energy vibrates and attracts situations, events, and people that vibrate on its level, then the question to ask is: how can we tell what our energy vibration level is? We want to know this answer because if we’re vibrating at a low level, we’re attracting things that are matching our vibration equivalent. And I’m referring to people and situations. How can we tell what we’re attracting? Simple. Just look around you. Just look at your home life, your work life, your love life, and your finances. Most people think that life is just a series of random circumstances in which they have no control, but it’s not. There aren’t any random situations. There are no coincidences. There’s nothing that happens by chance. Everything is drawn to us through our thoughts and beliefs, which attract situations and people who are vibrating at our level of thinking. So it’s like this: Let’s say you’re in a bad mood, for whatever reason. You’re thinking miserable thoughts. You hate the world. You hate yourself. You hate your job. Life sucks. Right here in this example, you’re vibrating at a low level. Studies have shown that when you’re negative, the vibration is extremely low; therefore, you’re going to attract other negative people and situations and health issues that resonate with your energy vibration. . . even things such as car accidents. How? If you’re in your car and you’re in a bad mood, your vibration is extremely low and it’s attracting other people who are in a bad mood or who are matching your vibration. Two people in a bad mood, driving down the road, can produce an accident—without a doubt. Are you following me? You are energy, and as energy, you vibrate, and when you vibrate, the universal law of physics states that you will attract any energy matching your vibration level—good or bad. So how do we fix this? How do we raise our vibration? You’re going to shake your head when you hear this. Again—the books don’t break it down like this. The gurus omit these simple details because they want to make money. But I want to help. And when I get a revelation like this, I’m going to share it. So here we go.

The gurus say that to raise your vibration, you must meditate, do visualization exercises, or listen to stimulating music. But, if you’re in a bad mood, how do you sit down and try to get in a good mood? If you’re in a bad mood, how do you visualize being in a good mood? You can’t. Your vibration is too low. It will take too much effort and the result will be frustration. But there is something that you can do, that you’ve been doing, that will absolutely get you mentally “there”. If you want to get your vibration up, just get in a better mood. How? Listen closely. What I'm going to tell you works. I’ve done it and have beaten agoraphobia by doing it. I’ll start by giving you examples.

Let’s say that you had a date and the date went well. You really like this person and can’t wait for them to call for a second date. Every day, you wait to get this call. By the end of the week, you’re miserable. The person hasn’t called you. You’re pouting. You’re nasty to everyone. You hate the world. Basically, you’re in a bad mood. Then, out of nowhere, the phone rings and it’s him. Suddenly, like magic, you’re on top of the world. All your misery has magically disappeared, as if someone flipped a switch in your brain. To make you see a clearer picture: your sudden happy mood has instantaneously raised your vibration to a higher level, and when it’s at a higher level and stays at that level, you’ll begin to attract things that are your vibrational match. You'll draw good things to you such as raises or promotions or you'll make more friends or get more dates. Life suddenly seems so great, doesn’t it? All from one little phone call.
If one phone call can get you in a great mood and raise your vibration level, that means that you can do it all on your own. How? Keep reading. I’m going to give you another example so that you will completely understand where I’m going with this.

Let’s say you wake up in a bad mood. Let’s say the night before you broke up with your boyfriend or had a big fight with a friend or got hit with a big bill that needs to be paid. Whatever your reason, you’re in a really bad mood. Now, you go to work. You’re quiet. You’re nasty. You’re barking at co-workers. Then, someone enters the room and they trip and fall. Everyone around you starts to giggle. And deep in your gut it was truly funny to see this person trip and fall. You have to admit that you want to laugh. And you finally tell yourself that you're going to laugh, despite being mad at life. And then you begin to laugh. And when you do, you’re laughing and enjoying, and your brain is doing its thing; the neurotransmitter, dopamine, is being released and good stuff begins to happen. Soon, after the laughter dies down, you find that you still have a smile on your face and now your mood isn’t so sullen. You feel a little better, and suddenly your problems seem small. You can handle things. Has this ever happened to you? I know it has. Here’s what happens when we laugh. Endorphins are released, which put us in a calm state of mind. Laughter is the way to raise your vibration. If you can find ways to laugh, you’re going to always raise your vibration. The more you laugh at life, the happier you are. The happier you are, the higher your vibration. The higher your vibration, the more you attract good things, and so on. It’s the only way to raise your vibration. Once you understand this and deliberately set out to get happy, you’re on your way. You can then do those visual manifestation exercises that the gurus mention. But by then, you won’t have to.

When you’re in a seriously bad mood, turn on a comedy show. Tell a friend to tell you some jokes. Try to rehash some funny incident. Before long, you’ll be laughing, and once that starts, you’ll be raising your vibration level.
